SUCCESS COMES IN MANY FORMS

Red Lion Evangelical Free Church is a prime example of how faith and focus can bring families together for Christ. In less then 20 years Red Lion has positioned itself as more than just a place or worship…it is a place of families. And families are what make a strong community. Red Lion really is more than just a church. Its’ ministries are impressive; The Red Lion Christian Academy, a Christ-centered Christian School that offers grades PK3 – 12th grade, Camp Cherith Summer Camp and Counseling Services to name just a few. “There is always something happening at Red Lion and we at Red Lion are proud that Metro Merchant Services is a part of what it takes to keep things happening”, says Pastor James Swalm. “We benefit from the services Metro provides to us in all areas of our organization. A SUCCESS STORY— Reaching Out With Wireless.

Victory Christian Fellowship of New Castle, Delaware has been using Metro Merchant Services for over 7 years to process transactions in a variety of ways. They have seen their ministry grow over the years and early on saw the need to offer more options to make donations and payments to their congregation and the community. “Victory has been very successful when it comes to embracing new payment technology and services to meet the growth of its congregation and its programs,” says Mark Landis of Metro Merchant Services. “ And now they have taken their ministry beyond their walls and to other locations around the region, and Metro was proud to be there to help.”

In addition to the point-of sale and ACH systems they have in their bookstore and on-site, they also operate a virtual based system for Internet orders for products from their bookstore and for two online websites that they operate. Now that they are spreading their message to other in the region with on-the-road ministries, programs and services, they needed to have a way to manage payment transactions remotely. Metro was able to equip them with two wireless terminals, which they have been successfully operating away from their base of operation. They have found the terminals to save time and paperwork, which adds up to savings for Victory. They are also enjoying lower rates for having a card present at the point-of-sale and the opportunity to print a receipt on the spot.
